Good morning Chickadee's.
It is very dreary and rainy here. So it is a great day to stay in and sew.
This picture will be your guild for the lay out of your quilt.
You will need to cut 31, 2 1/2 x 10 1/2 white strips
and 20 pink 2 1/2 inch squares.
8 of your 2 1/2 x 10 1/2 will be used for your sashing in between each block.
Sew a white 2 1/2 x 10 1/2 piece to a pink 2 1/2 inch square,
to the end of the pink 2 1/2 inch square sew another white 2 1/2 x 10 1/2 inch piece and sew a pink 2 1/2 inch square to that piece and for the end sew another 2 1/2 inch x 10 1/2 inch piece.
You will make 5 of these to go in between each row.
For the left and right sides sew a pink 2 1/2 inch square to a white 2 1/2 x 10 1/2 inch piece,
repeat this 3 times ending with a pink 2 1/2 inch square.
For the inner boarder cut 6 3 inch stips the width of your fabric.
For the outer boarder cut 9, 6 1/2 inch strips the width of your fabric.
Hope y'all had as much fun putting this quilt together as I did. I can not wait to start quilting it.
Stay warm and safe.
Hugs
donna
