This weekend has gone by so fast. We got a little drier air a cold front came through and there was a nice breeze today but the temperature was still in the 90's. I did a little cleaning up in our yard today. Got a couple more bushes planted and some weeds pulled.
Here is another Granny square block. These blocks are so much fun to make. I think I have done a total of 5 so far. I had a few more to show you but the photos did not come out to well. It was starting to get dark outside so I will have to try again tomorrow. I got a secret quilt quilted this weekend and a little bit of secret sewing done. All I have to do on the quilt is trim it up and sew the binding on and down.
Hope y'all have a great week.
I really love the fabric you used in this one!

Oh what a pretty granny square!! :o)
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering where both last weekend and this weekend went, as well as the days in-between! Well we had a baby and brought mom home and went on vacation so I guess that explains the craziness. Just checking in to say hi and see how you are doing. Take care my sweet friend.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Julie

ReplyDeleteHi Donna ~ Your granny squares look great... love your fabric choices. That Raggedy Ann and Andy fabric from your previous post is so sweet too. I can see why you'd have a hard time cutting it up. Your blog always makes me smile :)
ReplyDeleteHope you have a good week too.

Oh...The weekends do fly by...and, especially in the Fall months leading up to Christmas! It seems there is so much to do...so many get togethers and end of season gardening loose ends to tie up.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy your beautiful blog and always enjoy seeing your sweet lavender header with it's old fashioned charm.
Have a nice remainder of the week, dear Donna.

ReplyDeleteAs I laid in the hospital bed I started thinking that I had a show to do. I was hoping the Doctor would put me together so I could do the show.
