Back From Quilt Retreat


Hello  sweet Chickadees.
I can not believe it has been a week since I have blogged.  Well,  I have been a little busy and also having a lot of  fun



I went on a quilt retreat with these silly girls.  This is were we went RR Retreats.  We had some much fun and laughed so much we had tears running down our legs.  LOL  There were 5 new ladies this time and there were 3 Donna's.  It is so nice to get together with everyone and just sew.  Oh, and you can not forget the food.  It was delicious.   On St. Patrick's Day a couple of the ladies cooked lunch for everyone and decorated  for the occasion.  Everything we ate was green.  On Tuesday morning another one the girls cooked breakfast.  This group of ladies is just the best.  Thank you all for such a wonderful time.


I made a lot of progress on my granny squares.  Here are a few of them.  I only got 24 done.  When I cut the pieces I left 2 out for one block.  I got home and they were on the counter.  My train of thinking was to only make 25 but I am thinking now I may make 5 more.  I also got a crib blanket made for my nieces baby bed.  You will never guess I did not take a picture of it.  I will have to get her to send me some pictures.

    Sounds like you've had a great time, Donna. Your Granny Squares are looking great. I've just sent my Granny Square quilt off to be quilted. Can't wait to get it back!
