Finally Getting To Sew

Happy Monday my SWEET friends.

I finally got to sew this weekend.   YEAHHH!  This is barn 7.  I joined Lori's Barn Along over at http://beeinmybonnetco.blogspot.com/  and I am addicted to these barns.   I had the pin wheel block all done I just had to make it into a barn.

Block 8

This is as far as I got with this barn.  I still need to add the white borders.  It is not to late to join in girlee's  so pop on over to Lori's http://beeinmybonnetco.blogspot.com/ and see what is going on.  She is also making a tractor and a cilo block.  We are putting a mini barn up for our lawn equipment I can not wait to finish, I think there is a quilt block in it's future.

I also got a quilt put on the frame.  It is going to be for my niece that is coming home from Afghanistan soon. It is a Thimbleberries quilt with a  home on it.  This poor quilt has been hanging in my closet for I know about 5 years.  I am just not into Thimbleberries anymore.  Promise to show you more when I get some more quilting on it.

Hope y'all have a great start to your week.

Hugs
donna

  4. You would be proud of me! I got the sewing machine out and made a runner out of decorator samplers. I cut them into squares. Ok, not exactly a quilt, but it's sewing! I am a. Bit intimidated with the barns, but love them so! You always do such a great job putting colors together!
