Happy New Year.  Hope everyone had a WONDERFUL time with family and friends.  I am working on taking down all the Christmas decorations.  Guess I am kinda going slow because every thing is going to seem so bare.  Hey that is another reason to go thrifting.

Last weekend I decided to bring out my Aunt Grace's Circle of Friends blocks.  I got the sashing around the blocks done and thought I wanted to make this quilt my own and maybe not follow the directions.  (That would be the rebel in me) giggles.  Well I am not quit sure how I am going to put it all together yet.  Maybe this weekend something will come to me.

These are two of the blocks that go in the quilt.

There are four of these blocks and each one goes in the corner of the quilt.  It is the center I am wanting to change.  I will share more with you  as it comes together.

Sharon came by this morning and we had a GREAT visit.  Just getting to do nothing but talk.  While she was here the UPS man paid me a visit with 6 boxes.  Yes my frame arrived for my new quilt machine.   Later in the afternoon my machine and bobbin winder showed up Yeahhhhh!  I am so excited my sweet David is starting to put it all together for me.  Maybe this weekend I can also get another quilt quilted.

Well I guess it time to get dinner started.  Hope everyone is having a WONDERFUL evening.

Hugs
donna
