I did not get any sewing done today. We finally got some much needed rain and with the rain came thunder, lighting, high winds and hail. We did not have electricity all day. Finally got electricity back at almost 6 o'clock. On the up side I did get my sewing room some what organized. I had to rearrange things again. My quilting machine came in and it took more room than I thought. I am not that good with measurements I have to see it in person. "WHOOPS" But it is WONDERFUL. Quilts like a dream. I played with it a little to get the tension just right before I put a quilt top on it. I am so LOVING IT!
Yesterday I did get the rows sewn together on my Aunt Grace's Circle of Love. I changed the middle, I did not put the circle around the Dresden plate. When I did the circle I did not like the way it turned out. In the middle of the Dresden plate I placed a yoyo instead of a plan circle. I am thinking yoyo flowers are what I might do. Still need to play with it not sure if I will put flowers in the sashing. What do you think?
Hope everyone has a GREAT week.
Hugs

Donna it is gorgeous. I saw that rain coming on the radar. So glad you all were in the way of it. Heaven knows you need it. This is just such a pretty quilt. Simple yet clean lines. So jealous you have a quilter and you know how to use it! Smiles...Renee
