My Dollar Day

Had a GREAT day.  Had some errands to run and them David and I met up with Sharon for lunch.  Sharon and I where on our way to the quilt store when we remembered about a tag sale.  Normally this place holds auctions.  Well I love the tag sale much better.  Each piece here was 1 dollar each can you believe?

There is a third apron and it is blue but I guess I did not pay much attention to Foto Flexer.

Duchess had to give her approval of this vintage table runner.  So sorry I did not iron any of this yet I want to wash it first but I could not wait to show you.

This table cloth has embroidery on all 4 corners.

There are some stains but I know I will be able to get them all out.  No problem.

Could not resist either one of these vintage table cloths.

Tonight I plan to finally get in my sewing room and get some sewing done.  I still have one of Sharon's quilt on  my quilting frame.  I need more time in the weekends.

Tomorrow I will be in the kitchen baking for some of my family that is coming over on Sunday for an early Thanksgiving.  I offered to cook so we did not have to go out to eat.

Hope everyone has a WONDERFUL weekend.

  6. What a wonderful Dollar Sale-----so glad you rescued these precious items. It always amazes me that the sellers don't appreciate the work that some woman has put into such items. Happy that you do. They are some of the nicest I have seen.
