Last night was the first Friday Night Sew In that I have done.  I am so glad because I finished my Frilly Farm Bag. yehhhh!  If you are interested in joining the Friday Night Sew In, please visit Heidi at http://handmadebyheidi.blogspot.com/

You will never guess what I found on the way to my sister's yesterday, we stopped at a resale shop and you are never going to believe what I found.  Yes 3 more feed sacks.  One of them as a little stain but I think I can get it out.  I just love the flowers in these.

  9. I love your bag. The fabric is gorgeous. Why is it a farm bag? I just had to make a side track to read the history of feedsacks. I have heard them mentioned before but didn't know what they were. I loved the story at this site:

And such a lucky lady to have found more feed sacks. I will keep my eyes open for them, for you. We are so limited here in this little bitty town, but you just never know what may surface in our thrift shop. :o)
    Have a lovely weekend.
    Sincerely, Trish
