The weather has been so beautiful.  Today I got a little gardening done.  I planted purple petunia's in the front and cleaned around the sidewalk and that was enough for me.  The thing I hate about daylight savings time is that you do not realize what time it is while you are outside because it is still light.

Yesterday I was so excited when I saw the mail David was bringing in.  My fabric came in.  I love the mail.  I ordered some pieces of Delilha by Tanyn Whelan.  I just love it.  I needed to add some reds and pinks to my collection and what better pieces.

I also thought I needed this piece of Flower Sugar by Lecien.

I did get to sew and quilt this weekend as well.  What I decided to do is sew on Autumn's wedding quilt and quilt on the Dresden plate quilt I am making for my sister.  So I would sew then do a row of quilting. (and repeat)  I finally decided on a back.  And I am disappointed in the picture the colors are muted.  The backing is pink polka dots on white.  I am just in love with polka dots.  Well I guess the real point of the picture is to show you the quilting.  The quilting pattern I am using is all over feathers. I will have to show you more when I get it completed.  Hope everyone has a wonderful week.

I love day light savings but agree that a person can get carried away outside and before you know it, it's 8pm,the family is starving and you haven't even thought about what to cook for dinner! PIZZA! LOL
