I have been working on a grandmothers flower garden quilt.  I am going to do it in all purple reproduction fabrics.  Since I do not work on it much I do not have many blocks.  I am doing the English paper piecing method.  They say to leave the papers in until you are ready to sew it all together.  Pretty much I only work on this as I am watching TV or traveling.  Well you can tell I have not been doing much traveling by how many I have finished.  This is all done by hand.  You sew tiny little whip stitches.  I found this project as I was reorganizing my sewing room.  It sure seems to get cluttered fast.  Oh my I also found a quilt top I have been looking for.  Do not know what I was thinking but I had it folded in between some fabrics.  I will have to show in another post.

Hope everyone has a wonderful week. ttfn

  9. I am a big fan of hexagons and love to hand sew them - it's like therapy somehow. I love your flowers and the purple fabrics are beautiful - having a purple phase in my life, so this really works for me. Enjoy the pleasure of the process!
