I joined an apron swap over at Sue's http://countrypleasures.blogspot.com/. Thank you so much Sue for hosting such a wonderful apron swap. You should watch her blog the next apron swap is going to be for Valentines. My partner was Shug at http://shug-stepsoffaith.blogspot.com/ Just look at the sweet apron she sent me. I just love Cardinals at Christmas time. I did learn something new about Cardinals. David told me that the male has the bright colors and the females not so much. I just love my apron Shug Thank you so much.
This is the apron that I sent Shug. This picture was taken before my wonderful hubby changed the settings on my camera. Sorry the picture is not all that. But I just fell in love with this retro Santa fabric. And of course I had to add rick rack to complete it.
Last week Joyce from http://youngbydesign.blogspot.com/ and I had lunch and look what she made me. This wonderful apron and it is reversible. Just look at the great quilting Joyce did. I just love it Joyce Thank You so much.
This is the other side. Love it.
Oh my look what Trish from http://notesofsincerity.blogspot.com/ sent me for Christmas. I have been admiring her scarfs. This is my favorite one. Trish I just love it. Thank you so much for thanking of me. I will think of you every time I wear it.

Oh, those are simply the sweetest aprons! I really love how pretty they are. guess I need to start sewing aprons again. Haven't made an apron for a while. Love the scarf too! Isn't it fun to see how talented other people are? Looks like some fun swaps!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Susie
Oh Donna. I am so glad that you received your scarf and you are enjoying it. :o) Every time I looked at it, I was reminded of you. :o) A match made in heaven! :o)
ReplyDeleteThe apron you made is absolutely gorgeous! What a lucky swap partner. :o) And such a pretty apron you received. We have lots of cardinals that nest in our trees. I am not sure if you knew this or not, they mate for life. You should see how sweet they are together. When the male comes to eat from our feeder, he cheeps to her. :o) Then she comes in to eat with him. :o) Also, as they are deciding on a tree or bush for their nest, they actually "decide" together. Isn't that so sweet? I just love watching them.
Such wonderful aprons! The vintage Santas are so cute. I stopped by Sue's site and hope to join the Valentine's swap. It sounds like so much fun.
