Hello sweet Chickadee's.
It is a beautiful day here in Texas, finally. I think we have more soggy weather coming up though.
It is the perfect day to sit outside and hand stitch, crochet or whatever makes you happy.
This is our second year for the Sew Sweet Bee and it has started off with some fun sewing.
Amy from A Quilting Sheep was the queen bee for January and she picked a house block. I added a lavender heart for a door knob but did not get a picture of it. If you visit Amy you can see the block with the heart door knob.
On Saturday my sweet hubby and I where married for 31 years. We took a few days off and went to New Mexico. Not much snow is town but the mountain had plenty to play and ski in. We had so much fun.
While he went into a restaurant we go to when we visit there I was just sitting in the car playing with Duchess and I looked to my right and there was a deer. Yes a deer. He was hungry so I got out of the car and feed him. He licked the food right out of my hand it was amazing and so much fun. There were more deer and very tame.
Hope you are having an amazing week.
Happy Sewing.
Hugs,
donna
