Hello and Happy Hump Day.
It really is the dog days of summer here in Texas.
I have been staying inside doing a little sewing.
I started doing the Country Crossroads block with Bee In My Bonnet. It is so much fun but I have had only time to sew this one block together. I have a second block cut out and will hopefully get to sew it together today. I just love scrappy.
I have also been making some strawberry pincushions for the strawberry swap on IG. You know I keep forgetting to tell you that you can now find me on IG under donnaslavendernest. It seems that is where a lot of people are posting right now.
Oh boy I am so sorry about this fuzzy picture. It looked clearer before I posted it. Anyway Kerri has been making these sweet planter vase pincushions. You must take a peek there are adorable. I am so blessed to have this one. I just love, love these sweet head vases.
Hope you are having a great week so far and getting a little sewing in.
Hugs
donna

The pincushion is so sweet. Your friend is very talented.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could sew like you do. My mom used to sew and made all my school clothes growing up. I've been thinking about her cause school has already started.
