Finished Quilt Top

Good morning all.

Well I tried to take pictures with my phone to see if I could do any better.  Not so much, sorry.
I got the red sashing around my Raggedy Ann and Andy baby quilt.  I cut sashing strips 2 inches.

For the borders I used red and white gingham by Riley Blake.  It screams RED.  I am hoping to get it on the quilt frame today and quilt it.  There will be more pictures later. Hope you will not get sick of seeing it.

This is one of the shows I like to watch/listen to while I am sewing.  I just loved this show as a kid and my sweet hubby got it for me some time ago.   It dates me, but this is just to cute.

Just a reminder do not forget about the giveaway over at Trish's she will be picking a winner this Friday, September 20th.

Hope you are having a great day.

Hugs,
donna

  1. The red gingham is just what it needed. Mr. Ed! I can remember watching the reruns, good clean entertainment, something that is lacking in todays TV programs.

  7. Good morning! Not quite sure how I stumbled upon your blog, but I am so glad I did. I just recently bought a Bernina 580 and have gotten into machine embroidery and quilting. I have sewn for over 35 years, but am brand new to quilting and embroidery. I am having so much fun, but still lots to learn! I LOVE the quilt you just made here...sooo cute. I have been thinking of doing something similar with some embroidered pieces...but not sure yet what. I am wanting to use Beatrix Potter designs...we will see. Anyway, love yours...I will be back for sure! Enjoy your day! Debbie @The Way We Are...
