Happy Monday my sweet friends.
This is my block 9 of the Quilty Barn Along over at http://beeinmybonnetco.blogspot.com/ I had some scraps from Dick and Jane that I just had to use. Oh gosh I so heart Dick and Jane. So far this is my favorite block.
I did get a little more sewing done, but I will have to show you later.
Erica over at http://goldeneggvintage.blogspot.com/ put together a Vintage Christmas swap. Oh boy this was so much fun. I was partnered up with Tammy over at http://tammysloves.blogspot.com/ Tammy really spoiled me with a HUGE lot of Vintage goodness.
Just look at all this goodness from the stocking, elf, vintage rick rack, stickers, Christmas tree cookie cutter, the Santa and his gifts salt and pepper shaker, the cutest candle holder just to name a few. Oh boy The BeLoved Son a Tell a Tale book by the Whitman Publishing co. I just love this book and the little Jolly St.Nick book is so sweet, I have never seen this little book, but I can tell you I will display it at Christmas time. Thank you so very much Tammy for all your generosity and the sweetest Christmas in July.
In a few posts back I was telling you about the fun I was having finding vintagey Christmas stuff well I can finally show you. This is what I sent Tammy. Tammy loves the little bent knee elf's and Shiney Brite indents. In the tin I sent a few other things.
THANK YOU so much Erica for hosting this swap. It was so much fun and I hope we can do it again.
Hugs
donna
