Where Bloggers Create 2012

Karen at http://mydesertcottage.com/ is hosting Where Bloggers Create 2012.  This is my first time to join.  I am so excited and think it is going to be so much fun to see where everyone creates.  Please visit Karen to see where everyone creates and there beautiful spaces.

This is where I piece quilt tops, sew and embroider.   I love my little purple feather weight for piecing.  My sweet husband had it painted purple for me.  The top screen is the TV so I can watch I Love Lucy and the bottom is the monitor for the computer for my embroidery.

Just had to show you my new shelf at the top.   This came from an old sewing machine and I had glass cut for the shelves.

Now this is where I do my quilting.  Right now the quilt that is loaded on the machine is my cowboy bear baby quilt.  Hoping to have in my shop in the next week or so.  I love my fan that is the back ground, I just love the sound of it.

This is the cutting table my sweet husband set up for me.  In the background are some of my treasures from feedsacks to rick rack.   I finished my pillow case dress lamp a few months ago.   My friend Joyce from http://youngbydesign.blogspot.com/ got me this mannequin from a store that was going out of business and my sweet hubby helped me make into a lamp for more light at my cutting table.

Hope you have a great weekend.
