Organizing

Hello Chickadee's.  I am so sorry I am way behind on my blogging.  We have had graduating party's, working in the yard and I have been doing some spring cleaning.  I am trying to reorganize some closets and my sewing room trying to get ready for some fabric to arrive for my shop.  I am so excited I can hardly wait for it to arrive.  Today I did add some more sheets and some pin cushion's to my store.  I think most of my sheets are vintage just by looking at some tags but I am still not 100% sure so I am not showing them as such.

I had a lot of ironing to do today after washing some vintage fabric's.  This is fabric for a vintage pillow case.   I think the reason I got it so cheap is because it is not cut straight and is a little off to make a pillow case.

Just had to show you a closer picture.  I am in love with the little roses and bows.

This is more pillow case fabric and the same thing is true.  It is not straight but both pieces are going to be beautiful in something.

Hope y'all are having a wonderful weekend.

  2. Hi Donna! I've been thinking about you1 There are a lot of missing bloggers lately with holidays and spring fun. I had a blue rose sheet very similar to that as a new bride in 1980! It was given to me by a woman about 10 years older than me. so I'd say it was from the 60's or 70s. I found a vintage sheet at the thrift store lately and it's in great shape- no stains or tears. I bought another one at a garage sale yesterday but haven't unfolded it yet. I love finds like that.

Sounds like you're happily busy. Enjoy! ♥

  3. Hi Miss Donna...These are gorgeous. I love these. I was getting a bit worried about you but I figured you were busy tiling or such. I have been cleaning out closets and drawers myself. Great to see you blogging again...smiles..Renee

  6. My blogging is spotty, too. There is so much to do and not enough time! There are days when my inbox is full and i have to decide. Sew/quilt or sit and read emails. Both are fun, but sewing/quilting needs to win more.

    Your fabric finds are beautiful!

It's good seeing you again. =)
