The weeks are going by so fast. Tomorrow is Dotty Hop Day over at Holly's Cutie Pie Cottage. You must visit Holly at http://holly-girlsatheart.blogspot.com/ Her dotts are so cute. They put you in a GREAT mood they are so cheerful.
The 2 plates are hanging in my bedroom. There was no question about it for me they had to have lavender/purple polka dot ribbon on them. I am just in love with them.
This is the fabric Sharon is using on the back of her quilt. I could not resist taking a picture of it
before I put it on the quilting frame. I just love this fabric. Just add polka dots they make everything better.
Hope everyone is having a great start to this week.
Your plates are DARLING! I love polka dots, they just make everything happier. That fabric is very retro looking!
ReplyDeleteDonna,
ReplyDeleteLove your plates and the purple ribbon woven through them! Do you have purple all through your house? I know it is the cutest!
I have the same fabric for a project and I love it.
Hugs,
Donna
Love the plates! I am with you when it comes to dots, they do make everything better. I am now going to visit Holly.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day, Michelle.
Love that backing fabric, too!
ReplyDeleteDonna, I love the dotty ribbon through the plate! I'd love to have a plate like that and change the ribbon up now and then. I used organdy lavender dot ribbon in a wreath once and it was so sweet!
ReplyDeleteThank you SO much for linking up for Dotty Hop Day! ♥
I love dots! Your plates are cute! I absolutely love the backing fabric! It's one of my favs! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat other choice was there for the ribbon? The plates look great!
ReplyDeletePerfect fabric for backing too... good luck with the quilting!
How cute. I cannot believe your sweet husband didn't protest. Seem mine is a little too into the decorations or at least he thinks the pinks and purples should stay in my room/studio. Love that fabric. I have a fat quarter of that myself...smiles...Renee
ReplyDeleteYour ribbon plates are so pretty, Donna! Love the polka dotted ribbons:)
ReplyDelete~Cindy

ReplyDeleteYour fabric square arrived! Thanks so much.
As we get closer to the give a way date, I will disclose what I will be doing! :o)
So cute! I have some plates just like these--what a great idea. The ribbon looks so pretty. I find these pretty cheap (also pedastaled bowls)and pick them up when I see them. They go with everything!
ReplyDeleteDonna, your lace edged milk glass plates look so pretty with the purple dotty ribbon woven through them! I have a niece who is a big purple fan. She would love all of your pretty purple things.
