This has been a really busy weekend. But we had fun. It started on Friday we went to Warrenton. Carla rode with us and we met my cousin Natalie on the way. Later in the morning Autumn (my niece) and my sister met up with us. We where there all day and had a BLAST. Boy do my legs hurt. But I found some great treasures.
I could not resist this sweet little girl.
This planter is so cute with the violets and the little girl with the crooked smile. I have other treasures to show you but I do not have it all together yet.
We are just getting home this afternoon. My cousin got marred yesterday and it was a beautiful wedding. Sorry I do not have any pictures since I forgot my camera. It was so much fun seeing everyone and catching up with each others lives. Our husbands did not want to dance but that did not stop us. Us girls got out there and had some fun. Take it back I am so glad I did not take my camera. Trust me we do not want evidence of that. (giggles)
Earlier this week I had lunch with my Santa Sack partner Joyce from http://youngbydesign.blogspot.com/ I ordered this shabby fabric from her Meylah store. I just could not resist it. I feel in LOVE with it. You can go here to shop http://meylah.com/youngbydesign I am not sure what I am going to make with it yet. Thought I would save it for just the right project. I am sure I will be in bed early tonight but not before I do some wash. Hope everyone is having a great day.
very cute little girls and lovely fabric - sounds like you have had a lovely time
ReplyDeleteI love the first girl figurine so much. It reminds me of the girl figurine that sits on the fireplace on 'Little House on the Prairie.' I love that show, and often times it shows the porcelain figurine when you're watching the show.

ReplyDeleteA fun week-end. Reminds me I have three little girls dressed in red and carrying white muffs , Christmas figurines. I am thinking that I probably bought them in the 60's. Their faces look a lot like yours.
ReplyDeleteDonna I have that first planter... She is darling. The girls are darling. Why oh why did they ever stop making these? So glad you got to get out and have fun. It can be very exhausting...but rewarding...smiles...Renee
