Last night was a great Friday Night Sew-In.   This is the quilt I have been quilting. (still not finished)  I found it I guess last summer?  At a resale shop.

This is the design I am using on the quilt.  Thought I would show since you can not see it very well on the quilt.    I do not have a long arm, maybe a mid arm.  Any way when I buy patterns I have to size them done a bit.  This is the first time for me to do this pattern so I need lots of practice with this one.  But it has been a lot of fun.

The ADD kick in while I was quilting.  So I set up the embroidery on my machine.  So while I was quilting these Sun Bonnet Sue's where being created.    I thought they would make cute cards.

I finished my apron for the swap too.  Sorry I can not show you I want it to be a surprise.  Today I am thinking about making some pumpkins.  I will show you tomorrow hopefully they will be worthy of a picture. Hope everyone is having a great Saturday.  The weather is teasing us today.  It got cloudy but NO rain.

  8. Lucky you to have a quilting machine, at least your quilts get finished. Love your little Sunbonnet Sue. I keep forgetting to tell you but your blog button keeps disappearing from my blog. It says it is there on my design wall, but no picture. Is it me or have you had trouble with the picture?

  10. I have a bunch of quilt tops I need to quilt, I got them at the thrift store too. That pattern is very pretty and it looks great on that quilt! Darling sunbonnets, where did you get them? I used to have my embroidery machine set up next to my sewing machine, but it needs a new circuit board, I think. Enjoy your Sunday!

  11. I have no idea how to quilt a pattern. I'm just getting the hang of free motion quilting. I'm kinda jealous, too.
