 Happy 100th Birthday Lucy!

Today is Lucille Ball's 100th Birthday.  I have watched I Love Lucy since I was a little girl and love her.  She was a beautiful person.  This is my kind of TV I have collected all of her series'.  Today on Turner Classics they are playing the movies she made.  My David is so sweet he is DVRing all of them.  Well guess it will a popcorn and movie night Yeahhh

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

  1. I used to like watching Lucille Ball. I don't often get to see any of her movies or her TV show but now one of our new TV channels has started showing the show. Enjoy your movies. Hugs,

  3. She was the best, no one else like her. Back in the 80's Bud and I went to a cocktail party at Madaline ????, home, can't remember her last name. Madeline was one of the writers of the Lucy show. Lucille sat on the sofa with her then husband for the whole time and didn't talk much to anyone. Still it was exciting to see her.

  5. I Love Lucy too! I saw each episode so many times and still laughed every time I watched it :) When I was in ICU for about 3 weeks in 2001 on a ventilator I would watch I Love Lucy every morning at 5:30!! That was my entertainment until I could see my family!

  8. I too have so many memories of Lucy and her TV show as I was growing up. I guess you could say she was part of the sound track of our generation!
