Happy Halloween

A couple of weekends ago our son Dillon and his beautiful girl friend Erica came out to carve pumpkins.  It was a windy day but they had a blast.

Today at work we dressed up for Halloween.  We are having so much fun.  This is my boss as Austin Powers.

Back from Quilt Market in Houston

I had a blast at Market.  Meeting new people and seeing new things.  This is Anne Sutton from Bunny Hill Designs.  She is one of the nicest ladies you will ever want to meet.  The quilt behind us is one of her beautiful designs Chick Jubilee.  Of course I just had to buy her pattern.  I have several of her patterns and I just love them.

This is what the chair's looked like at the Moda booth where you sit and order fabric.  There theme was my favorite COLOR is Moda.

This booth was so super cute.  Moda was displaying Glamping by Mary Jane.  The fabrics are so cute and I just had to see how they decorated the little camper so I took a peek.  Oh it was decorated so cute.  (I just realized I did not get a picture of the inside.)  Makes me want want one of those cute little campers.  

This booth was to show case one of Darlene Zimmerman's lines Naptime.  This is another cute line.  This was my first time to go to Market.  There are so many talented people out there with the cutest stuff ever.  

I did meet with the Lecien rep. and I ordered some of there new lines.  Now I can not wait to get them in my shop.  In November/December Pam Kitty Love will be coming in.  Talk about cute.  I met Pam Kitty in the Lake House both.  She too is one of the nicest of ladies.

Fun With Friends

Happy Sunday Morning.  This week I meet Joyce over at http://youngbydesign.blogspot.com/2012/10/cutting-rug.html for lunch.  We always have a great time catching up.  Look what Joyce brought me.  How did she know I needed these.  The cute little sewing kit is just perfect for traveling or sitting at the sofa sewing binding on.   She is so sweet and is always thinking of me.  Thank you so much Joyce.

On Friday my friend Carla and I got together and did a little sewing and quilting.  Carla is so sweet she too is always thinking about me and bringing me the sweetest of gifts.  The little Halloween house is so cute this picture does not do it justice.  Can you spy the little spider button for the door knob.  Thank you so much Carla for being so sweet.

We are so looking forward to going to Market in Houston coming up at the end of this week.    Carla, Joyce and I are going.  This is my first time ever to go.  I am looking forward to going and bringing cute stuff home for my shop.

New Stuff In My Shop and A GIVE AWAY

This is some new yummy Lecien Flower Sugar 2012 in my shop.  I did not get everything I ordered since I did not order in enough time.  (Image that)  Oh my goodness this fabric is gorgeous.  So I decided it is time for me to do a GIVE AWAY.

A Little Christmas Sewing

Hello Chickadee's.  This is a little Christmas sewing that I have been doing.  This was a picture frame that I painted and roughed up a little.  I machine embroidered this sweet Santa, I am just in love with vintage looking Santa's.

This is my first try at making a needle case.  I machine embroidered this vintage little kitty mending.

This is the inside.  WHOOPS I did not lay it to flat did I for the picture?

WhoooHoooo

WhoooHoooo!  My internet is back.  Took the guy like 2ish hours.  Since we live out in the middle of rice fields we have Dish for internet.  So there was some adjusting and new equipment.   Boy talking about with drawls.  I can not wait to catch up with everyone.  

At the beginning of October there was a witch's hat swap.  Well of course I am usually to late but they look like so much fun to make.  So I found some paper mache' hats at here we go.    The top one I made for me and you know I just had to add orange and black toule.  I have always loved this little boy and pumpkin picture.

So far this is the second witch's hat that I have made and it is for a friend.   SHHHH!  She does not read my blog so I am totally safe.

I am going to try and catch up with my blogging this weekend.  Can not wait to see what everyone has been up to.   Hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful weekend.

It has been to long

Hello my dear sweet friends.  I am so sorry I have not been able to blog or catch up with any of you.  Our internet has been down.  UGHH!  So I brought my computer to work so I could try and catch up with some of you on my lunch hour.  The dish guy is suppose to come by on Friday and I pray he can get us back up and running again.  I am having with drawls.  

Our weather here has been awesome.  Hope all of you are enjoying your day.
