Hello dumplin heads.  I decided to make a dresden plate quilt.  This is the first time I have done dresden plates and so far they are going together pretty fast, simple and fun.  I thought it would be fun to do scrapy doo  with yellow centers.  Hope everyone has a wonderful week.

Look at the skirt I made I just love it.  I used an old pair of jeans and a vintage table cloth.  The roses are my favorite.

I had the best day yesterday went on a treasure hunt.  Started out going to garage sales with Nancy and I found this awesome trunk for $15 dollars.  One more thing I can load with fabric yahhh.  Had lunch with Sharon and Leonard at Willies after we went to the quilt store to load up and pick up our block of the month (Aunt Grace Circle of Friends.)   Then I went to a few antique shops in Rosenberg and found the bench for 1/2 price and as you can see I have already made it my own with the lavender ribbon and pick rose fabric.  When I got home went into a resale shop and found this vintage table for $3 can you believe.  It is going to look great on my table in the spring.  Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

This is the apron I made out of the vintage pattern I bought in Warrenton.  Those are not white dots they are tiny white hearts I could not resist the fabric.  I just love rick rack and I think it adds alot to this precious apron.  Maybe this will make a wonderful gift for someone or Christmas gifts?  TTFN

Hello Dumplin's.  I finished my hexagon quilt and trimmed the edges all I have to do is sew on the binding. I am so happy to be finished I am that much closer to enjoying it even more.  Thought you might what to take a peek?  You know Amazon is a great place.  Look what we got in the mail this week.  Duchess is a little unsure about it but I think when we get strollin she will love it.  She loves to go and this is way better than the purse I have for her.  (I apologize could not get the dots out of her eyes.)  I also have to show you these awesome McCoy potts my Aunt gave me.  They belonged to my great great Aunt and I just love them.  Thank you Aunt Carol.

David and I went to Warrenton again this weekend and had a blast.  I found this well used 1956 Simplicity apron pattern that I just love.  Just think it is so cute and I can not wait to make it.  We also found this whole feed sack.  I rarely come across whole still sewn up ones so when I find one it is a real treasure.  Thought you might also like to see what I am working on.  I am almost finished with the quilting on my hexagon quilt.  I used all 1930's reproductions.  I can not wait until I am finished.  The next challenge will be the binding I am not sure if I am going to give my quilt straight edges or not?  Hope everyone has a wonderful day.  Our weather is awesome today.
